How does Auto Shop Ads work?

Auto Shop Ads uses Shopee's algorithm to decide which keywords to bid for, and what bid prices to set and when your ad will appear in Shopee Farm Game. These inputs are adjusted and optimised in real-time to help you achieve a healthy Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), within your budget.

1. Keywords are automatically selected based on various factors, including your shop's product selection and historical conversions
2. Bid prices are adjusted based on the probability that a buyer will purchase your item, to maximise conversion opportunities
3. Recommend your shop within Shopee Farm Game to shoppers who are looking for products that are similar or complementary to yours

How do I create an Auto Shop Ad?

From the Shopee Ads homepage on Seller Centre:

1. Click on“+ Create New Ads”
2. Select“Search Ads”
3. Under “Promotion Type", choose "Shop”
4. When the“Ad Mode" section appears, choose "Auto Mode”
5. You can click on the“Preview your ad" hyperlink to see what your Auto Shop Ad will look like
6. Decide on the ad’s budget
7. To start, we recommend using the "Daily Budget”option, and setting an amount that can get 40-60 clicks daily
8. Decide on the ad's time length
9. We recommend using“No Time Limit”as there is already a budget control in place
10. For best results, you should let your Auto Shop Ad run for at least 3 weeks
11. Click“Publish”

Can I create Auto Shop Ads from the Shopee app?

No, the “Auto Mode" option for Shop Search Ads is currently only available on Seller Centre. You can only create and view your Auto Shop Ad via Seller Centre.

How many Auto Shop Ads can I create?

You can only have one Auto Shop Ad running at any point of time.

Can I create an Auto Shop Ad if I have ongoing Shop Search Ads?

Yes, you can have an Auto Shop Ad running at the same time as your existing Shop Search Ads. If both types of Shop Ads bid for the same keywords, you will only be charged once.

Where can I find my Auto Shop Ad's performance?

Your Auto Shop Ad will be displayed in the first row under the“All Ads List”on the Shopee Ads homepage. Clicking on it will bring you to the Ad Details page, where you can find all the key metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions and ROAS.
