Shopee Ads Sales Conversion Tracking Update

From 18 Nov 2020, the tracking of sales generated by shoppers from clicking on your ads will include the advertised products as well as other products purchased within 7 days of the ad click, so that you can measure the full business impact of your ads. With this update, you may notice an increase in these metrics:

  1. Orders
  2. Items Sold
  3. Gross Merchandise Value (GMV)
  4. Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS)*


* Note: Advertising Cost of Sales (ACOS) will decrease correspondingly (a lower ACOS is better) 


You will still be able to track the sales of advertised products only by referring to these metrics: 

  1. Direct Orders
  2. Direct Items Sold
  3. Direct GMV
  4. Direct ROAS 
  5. Direct ACOS
