How to Use Ads
Find out more about how to set up and manage your ads to grow your business.
The Recommendations module on the Shopee Ads page provides personalised suggestions to simplify your ads management and highlight useful actions that will improve your overall ads performance.
These recommendations are personalised based on your shop's data, historical ads performance, and relevant buyer data to be the most relevant and helpful to you. This means that you will not always get every type of recommendation, and sometimes you may not have any active recommendations.
Shopee will regularly analyse your shop, check for relevant recommendations, and also launch new recommendation types, so be sure to check the Shopee Ads page often.
The "Improve Your Ad Performance" card highlights ads that have good performance, but are constrained by not having enough daily budget to be displayed to buyers throughout the day.
This card will appear during campaign periods, identifying different ads with optimisation opportunities. You can click on the hyperlink to download a .csv file that contains detailed information of the recommended daily budget adjustments.
Note that after the adjustments are applied, you can still manually change the budget amounts.
"Low Balance Alert" informs you when your ads credit is running low. All your ads will not be displayed to buyers when there is insufficient ads credit, so it is important to maintain a healthy balance.
The "Expiring Ads Credit" card informs you when you have ads credit expiring within the next 30 days, and will continue to be displayed until the expiry date. You can create more ads for the recommended products, or increase bid prices for keywords with good ROAS to increase your sales, while also using the ads credit before they expire.
When new features are launched and are considered to be relevant and useful for you, we will present a recommendation for you to try it out.
Whenever you are eligible for ads-related promotions, you will see a recommendation to take up the offer. Be sure to complete the action before the promotion expires.
